As a successful global company, Heraeus feels very strongly that it has a responsibility to use its resources to impact the greater community and to transform lives in a positive way.
The activities outlined below are just some of the ways that we put this mission into practice.
From helping a little girl smile again to providing educational opportunities to the next generation of dentists, we are proud of our ongoing efforts to transform lives.
In 2011, Heraeus worked directly with the Giving Hand Foundation to host a 2-day free dental clinic at its corporate headquarters in South Bend, Indiana.
Heraeus has made an ongoing commitment to provide access to care for thousands of underserved children through the National Children's Oral Health Foundation.
In 2010, Heraeus supported the LD Pankey Foundation's "Dental Access Days" program, hosting a two-day, onsite, free dental clinic.
Heraeus contributes a portion of Venus White sales to support funding for Breast Cancer Research, and sponsored an employee team in the local Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.
Heraeus is proud to support the AACD's Give Back a Smile Foundation, which provides restorative dental services to survivors of domestic violence.
Each year, Heraeus provides training, tools and sponsorship for more than 300 continuing educational events to help dental professionals at all levels realize their potential.
A little girl named Gabriela lives in Florida and has a disorder called Dentinogenesis Imperfecta, which causes her teeth to break off. She didn't want to go to school anymore because of teasing from other children.
Dr. Raymond Kimsey volunteered his time to restore her smile with Venus Diamond, Venus Flow, Venus Supra, and iBOND -- all donated by Heraeus. The impact has been tremendous, and has truly transformed Gabriela's life.
